There’s just 25 days until the Mariners first game of the season against Western Sydney Wanderers at Parramatta Stadium!
CENTRAL Coast Mariners will enter the 2012/13 Hyundai A-League campaign with an average squad age of 25.
The offseason has allowed Graham Arnold to sign experienced players such as Mile Sterjovski (33), and also retain the seasoned services of Patrick Zwaanswijk (37).
Despite these elder statesman of the team pulling the average age slightly north, the additions of youngsters Mitchell Duke, Anthony Caceres, James Oates and Brent Griffiths to the squad has ensured the Mariners average squad age is collectively one of the lowest in Australia-s top flight.
Duke, Caceres and Oates were all promoted from the Mariners Champion National Youth League team to Central Coast-s first team squad.
