Central Coast Mariners’ Club Legend, Adam Kwasnik has wrapped up another year of Mariners Active thanks to Newcastle Permanent where the FREE program has visited over 40 schools and interacted with more than 10 000 children!
The Mariners Active Program, pioneered by the first ever Mariners’ signing, Damien Brown continues to grow year-on-year and provides primary school children the chance to get out of the class room and have a kick to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
During the 2015 school year, Kwas’ went as far south as Lane Cove, west to schools in Orange and north up to Lake Munmorah.
The Mariners Active Program is proudly supported by Newcastle Permanent who have teamed up with the Central Coast Mariners to teach children about staying active and eating healthy whilst providing them with a range of Newcastle Permanent and Mariners freebies.
Even though the school year has finished, Kwas’ is keeping busy preparing for the latest installation of Mariners’ School Holiday Clinics that are set to take place at the Central Coast Mariners Centre of Excellence (Tuggerah) and Western NSW (Dubbo).
