The Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce that Camp Quality raised almost $3000 through bucket collections during our most recent home match against Perth Glory on Sunday March 22.
Fans and members were able to enter the hallowed turf of Central Coast Stadium after full time by making a coin donation to Camp Quality volunteers before joining our players on the pitch for a unique football experience.
The Central Coast Mariners and Perth Glory players were escorted onto the field by Camp Quality ambassadors – an ecstatic parent said that her son was wrapped after taking the pitch side by side with his Mariners superheroes.
“We just wanted to say thank you to Camp Quality and Central Coast Mariners for giving us the complimentary tickets to the match on Sunday and for the unforgettable experience the kids had, being able to run out with the players.
“They were over the moon about doing it and haven’t stopped talking about it since returning home. My son has been telling us that he will never have an experience like it again and is in awe of actually having held a mighty Mariners hand,” she said.
Camp Quality are the official Charity Partner of the Central Coast Mariners and both organisations will continue to work together to create a better life for children living with cancer in Australia.
