CLUB STATEMENT: Trifiro and Mariners part ways

The Central Coast Mariners wish to advise Members, fans and media that the contract of Glen Trifiro has been terminated by mutual consent.

Trifiro arrived at the Central Coast Mariners in February 2014 under Phil Moss and made 27 Hyundai A-League appearances for the Yellow & Navy over the past three seasons, scoring two goals.

‘Tricky’ was a part of the Mariners Foxtel National Youth League set up in 2009 and returned to make his Hyundai A-League debut for the Club.

“I’ve had some great times and amazing experiences at the Central Coast Mariners,” Trifiro said.

“I started as an NYL player back in 2009 and I returned to start my Hyundai A-League career five years later.

“I would like to thank the fans for their support over the years and I wish the players the best of luck for the future,” Trifiro said.

The Central Coast Mariners and Glen Trifiro will make no further comment on this matter.
