The Central Coast Mariners can confirm that they have reached an agreement with Giancarlo Gallifuoco for the player to depart the club with immediate effect.
Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp thanked Gallifuoco for his time with the club this season.
“Giancarlo approached the club and indicated a wish to explore an opportunity with another club, with the potential to play Champions League football,” Mielekamp said.
“We have reached an agreement with Giancarlo, and everyone at the club wishes him all the best for his new endeavour and thank him for his time at the Mariners.”
“This move also allows the Club to also explore further options with the transfer window still open.”
