It’s a big month for the club.
Tonight, the CommBank Matildas are at Gosford hosting the New Zealand Ferns. It’s a significant moment for our region and a reminder of how far women’s football has come. If you’re heading in, gates open from 3.50pm for a 7.30 kick off. It will be a special night for the Coast.
Our ALM group took a loss last weekend, but there were real positives in the second half I thought. Getting key players back on the pitch and getting minutes into them was important. The energy in training this week has been sharp, hungry and connected.
Our ALW side has the weekend off, which gives them a clean window to reset, review and prepare for the next block of games.
And we’re back at home on Saturday afternoon when our ALM boys run out at Polytec Stadium.
Big month, big opportunities, and plenty for our club to build on. Let’s see you all at the games.
