Central Coast Mariners announce club record apparel partnership with Cikers Australia alongside launch of 2023 Australia Cup Kit

The Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce a multi-year partnership with apparel company, Cikers Australia.

The agreement, which represents the most valuable apparel deal in the Mariners history, will see the club wear Cikers Australia apparel for at least the next two seasons.

They will be creating an increased amount of bespoke playing, training and casual wear for Mariners players, staff and our incredible fan base.

Their first design for the Central Coast Mariners, our Australia Cup home and away kits proudly sponsored by DMC, pays homage to the original Mariners kit of the inaugural 2005/06 season A-League season.

This year represents the sixth season of support from DMC Conveyor Services, with Managing Director Michael Dovey excited to continue giving back to the Central Coast community.

In addition to his partnership with Central Coast Mariners, DMC also proudly supports a range of grass roots teams in sports around the Central Coast region including football, rugby union and rugby league clubs.

The new kit features a coloured sash across the top of both kits, alongside new features that are unique to the Cikers Australia brand including a rubber club badge.

Cikers Australia is also the current kit provider of NSW NPL team Wollongong Wolves, having joined forces with them in January this year.

Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp is extremely excited to be able to announce the club record Mariners apparel partnership, commenting on the shared set of values between the Mariners and Cikers Australia.

“This partnership is the biggest apparel deal in the history of the club by a long way and see’s us partnered up for a minimum of two seasons but will likely be for the next five. From the moment that we first connected with Cikers Australia, it was clear that we have a shared set of values and passion for football that we collectively get to express together through apparel,” Mielekamp said.

“The team at Cikers were at the Grand Final and they are well and truly part of the Mariners family. This is more than just a kit supply deal, this is a business partnership where we will work together to create something special and new for Australian sports apparel.

“We have been to the factories and worked closely one on one with their designers and will look to open a concept retail outlet before the end of the year. Cikers is the new brand for the Central Coast; being able to be part of the launch of a brand-new brand into the Australian Sports apparel industry is extremely exciting and I’m sure Cikers will forever be synonymous with the Coast.

“This partnership sees the Mariners invested into the growth of Cikers as a new brand in Australia and the Central Coast Mariners will be passionately driving Cikers products into sports stores around the country. We will also be enabling local clubs to get kitted out with the best gear from Cikers.

“The product is phenomenal, and the technical materials being incorporated are some that we have never seen before. I know once everyone gets to see it in person, wear it and experience this new brand it will stand out in the market like you won’t believe.”
