2024 Australia Cup kit revealed with polytec as front of shirt partner

Central Coast Mariners are excited to reveal our 2024/25 Australia Cup kit, with local business polytec proudly featuring as front of shirt partner.

The kits celebrate the Central Coast’s footballing heritage, inspired by ‘The Coasties’ and using their colours on the away strip, which will be seen for the first time in Wednesday’s Australia Cup match against Heidelberg United.

Further details on the kits pay homage to our community connection, featuring the Gosford Sandstone (also known as Hawkesbury Sandstone) textures which are renowned for beauty and durability.

The history of Gosford Sandstone goes over 100 years back in Central Coast history. It was quarried in 1922 and sent by boat to many locations, including Sydney and Canberra.

Quarries located at Mt. Mouat and Rumbalara Reserve in Gosford, as well as Wondabyne and Somersby, were open as late as the 1970s, having provided a popular building material for over 50 years. Gosford Sandstone can still be seen in popular spots across the Coast such as Terrigal beachfront, to this day.
