Exciting striker Andrew Hoole linked up with the Yellow and Navy ahead of the 2017/18 season from fierce rivals, the Newcastle Jets. Hoole has previously spent time with Sydney FC and the Jets on two occasions and is an exciting prospect for Paul Okon’s front third. Hoole bagged six goals for the Jets during the 2016/17 campaign, including a late free kick from distance to earn a point against the Wanderers. Hoole is capped at U20 and U23 level for Australia.
