The Central Coast Mariners first grade men’s side are back in action this weekend, set to take on Sydney Olympic at Our Paradise.
The game, which will feature numerous ex-Mariners on the away side including Roy O’Donovan and Ziggy Gordon, is a vital one for the Mariners as we head towards the mid-part of the NPL season.

First Grade vs Sydney Olympic
Off the back on a tight draw against St George last weekend, the Central Coast Mariners NPL first grade side are back this weekend to take on Sydney Olympic.
The game acting as another chance for the next generation of Mariner to play on Industree Group Stadium, with the match to take place at 7:45pm after the A-League game.
Away from home last Saturday, the Mariners looked the stronger side for the majority of the match. A second goal in two weeks from Cameron Windust gave us the lead, with the team defending valiantly in the hopes of securing three points.
Unfortunately, a late St George goal meant that we had to settle for one, keeping the side in 15th place after 10 rounds.
After a tough few matches, Sydney Olympic have found some form of late, undefeated in their last three games.
Clean sheets against NWS Spirit and Bulls FC Academy saw them collect maximum points, while they grabbed a 1-all draw against Mt Druitt last round.
The team currently sit in eighth place on 16 points, looking to continue their rise up the competition ladder.
