Central Coast Mariners can today confirm updates to Mark Jackson’s First Team Coaching Staff for the 2024/25 season.
After treble-winning duo Mark Jackson and Danny Schofield recently extended their stay on the Coast until 2027, we can now confirm the following changes to Jacko’s Coaching Staff for the 2024/25 season.

Departing the club are Brice Johnson, Andres Clavijo, Andy Bernal and John Donnelly who leave with thanks from everybody at Central Coast Mariners, for the part they played in our historic success.
With that, the club are proud to announce a number of promotions from Academy to First Team staff. Cade Mapu steps up to Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach, Nick Van Reede becomes Head of Physiotherapy and former player Josh Rose is promoted from U20 Head Coach to First Team Assistant Coach.
Finally, we have welcomed experienced Strength and Conditioning Coach Dean Benton to the club as Head of Performance, he joins with an already stellar CV which includes success across a number of sports in Australia and England.

Sporting Director Matt Simon thanks all departing staff members and is excited with the new additions to the First Team staff.
“Change always happens also with staff and we have had some big changes this year. Those staff members that have moved on are going to go down in history as being part of one of the greatest A-League teams of all time and we thank them for everything they gave us, they’ll be welcome at the club forever.” Simmo said.
