300 Games. One Heart. One Club Legend.

Tonight, at polytec Stadium, Central Coast Mariners goalkeeper Andrew Redmayne will step onto the pitch for the 300th time in the A-Leagues – a milestone that speaks not only to longevity, but to resilience, character, and an unwavering love for the game.

On September 26, 2008, when the Central Coast Mariners played Perth Glory,
goalkeeper Mark Bosnich was injured just six minutes into the match. That day,
Andrew Redmayne made his A-Leagues debut. Tonight, he celebrates this milestone
on the same field where it all started.

Born just 500 meters from the stadium at Gosford Hospital, the Central Coast has
always been special to Redmayne. From his early days chasing a dream to
becoming one of the most recognisable and respected figures in Australian football,
Redmayneʼs journey has never been the easy path – but it has always been the
honest one.

Built on grit, hard work and determination. He has become a player defined not just
by his saves, but by his spirit. For teammates, he is a leader. For fans, he is a fighter.
And for the game, he is a reminder that success is earned, moment by moment,
season by season.

Redmayne has seen it all in football: heartbreaks, triumphs, pressure, and glory.
Every game has added to a career that keeps inspiring those around him.
Redmayne is just the fifteenth player to reach 300 A-League appearances and only
the second to do so with four Grand Final wins. He also made one of the most
memorable plays in Socceroosʼ history, earning the nickname “the Grey Wiggleˮ for
his unique style. His save during the penalty shoot-out against Peru sent the
Socceroos to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

With 71 clean sheets to his name – ranking him fourth in the Isuzu UTE A-League
Menʼs all-time goalkeepersʼ list – the 37-year-old has been awarded the Isuzu UTE
A-League Goalkeeper of the Year twice, going back-to-back during 2019/20 and
2020/21 seasons, and leads the leagueʼs all-time record for total saves with 892,
seeing him add 112 saves to his tally this season with his stellar form between the
sticks.

As he reaches this remarkable achievement, the Central Coast Mariners, his
teammates, and supporters everywhere recognise Redder’s milestone and the
journey till now. Andrew Redmayne. 300 A-Leagues games. And he is not done yet.
