Central Coast Mariners return to Our Paradise for the final time in the Isuzu UTE A-League 2025/26 regular season on Friday night (7:35pm kick-off).
Brisbane Roar are the visitors for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest games of the season, with finals football still to fight for and some huge milestones to be celebrated.
Finals Football in sight
Every point is crucial with just three games to go in the A-League season, the Mariners sit three points ahead of tonight’s opponents and more importantly, four points behind sixth-placed Melbourne City after defeat at AAMI Park on Tuesday.
The Mariners will be looking to respond and know three points is crucial to close that gap, whilst anything less than three points for Roar would all but rule them out of finals for the fifth consecutive season.
๐พ Milestone Moments for Mariners duo
๐ Redders makes massive 300 mark
An Australian football legend reaches a special milestone this evening as Andrew Redmayne lines-up for the 300th time in the A-League, becoming just the 15th player in A-League history to hit 300 appearances.
Tonight we celebrate his stellar career, which is bookended by two stints at the Mariners and also included a successful spell with tonight’s opponents, where he won a Premiership and back-to-back Championships in Ange Postecoglu’s infamous ‘Roarcelona’ side.
A standout performer in 2025/26, his return season with the Mariners, Redders has silenced his critics. The 37-year-old has played every single minute of the campaign so far, making more saves than any other goalkeeper in the league (112) and keeping five clean sheets.
๐ช Nathan Paull hits half century
Nathan Paull is in line to make his 50th appearance, a respectable milestone for any professional but especially notable for someone of just 22 years of age.
Paully will be looking to mark his milestone appearance by making a big influence at both ends of the pitch. Defensively, he will have to deal with a physical and dynamic Roar frontline, whilst he will look to make his presence felt from attacking set pieces, as he looks to notch his third career goal.
Final regular-season home game for Warren Moon
The match will also mark Warren Moonโs final regular-season home game as Head Coach, following official announcement that he will depart the club at the end of the campaign.

๐ค Mariners dominate recent head-to-head
Two close battles so far this season have seen results go either way, with Brisbane snatching a late goal to win 2-1 on New Year’s Eve at Our Paradise, before a rare Storm Roux goal saw us complete a comeback victory in Brisbane in February.
Brisbane have won 2-1 on their last two visits to Gosford, but the Mariners have a strong recent record over Roar, winning eight out of the last eleven meetings between the two since 2022 – whilst there has not been a draw in this fixture since 2021.
