In celebration of our A-League Men’s Grand Final victory just over three weeks ago, the Central Coast Mariners and Vibe Manager Andy Bernal have organised the Vibe Trophy Tour.
Each week, schools, holiday camps and football programs will get the opportunity to see the A-League Men’s trophy up close and personal, in celebration of not only the win for the Mariners, but also for the entire Central Coast community.
The Vibe Trophy tour is well and truly underway, with almost 15 schools and football training sessions visited in only the past week!
Monday saw two schools visited, as well as the Mariners GSAP and SAP members. These A-League players of the future got to see what they could be competing for one day, getting to see the trophy at their Monday night training session.
Woodport Primary and Wyong Christian Community School were visited on Tuesday before an action-packed Wednesday of fun. Narara Valley High School saw the trophy first, then it was taken to the NSW Futsal Championships. After, it was Warnervale Public’s turn, before Blue Haven Public were visited first thing on Thursday morning.
Lakes Grammar were next on Thursday afternoon, before OneCulture Inclusive Football got a visit from Andy and the trophy!
The fun didn’t just take place during the school week, with the trophy also out and about on Saturday visiting numerous local junior footballers including those at Wyoming Tigers FC.
The final stop of the week saw Andy and the trophy pay visit to a fundraising day for local legend Hatto, alongside Killarney District Soccer Club. If the trophy hasn’t made it to your school yet don’t worry, as there is another action-packed few weeks coming up!
