The Central Coast Mariners have joined forces with one of the world’s leading independent enterprise search and big data analytics companies “Search Technologies” that will see the firm’s logo appear on the back of the Mariners home kit for the Hyundai A-League 2015/16 Season.

Based in Washington D.C. in the United States, Search Technologies is the leading independent IT services firm specialising in the design, implementation, and management of search and big data analytics applications. Analytics have become increasingly important in professional sport and the Central Coast Mariners will work closely with Search Technologies to gain an edge over their Hyundai A-League opponents.

Since 2005, Search Technologies has helped over 600 clients worldwide extract valuable insight locked in their data.  Their experienced consultants and unique technical assets help deliver customised search and analytics solutions that are easier to use, less expensive, more powerful, more reliable, and most importantly, aligned with the customer’s business objectives.

Central Coast Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp re-iterated the importance of the club’s corporate partners on the eve of Hyundai A-League Season 11.

“The goal of the Central Coast Mariners is to become the most innovative, entertaining and community minded sports club in Australia,” Mielekamp said.

“To achieve this goal we need to align ourselves with like-minded partners who can help us on this journey. Since the moment we first engaged with Search Technologies we were blown away by the innovation, technology and new ideas that we believe form a perfect synergy.

“We welcome Search Technologies to the Mariners family and cannot wait to see how the benefits of their big data analysis can translate into on and off field success not only for the Mariners but the entire A-League football audience.

Big data analysis assists in the examination of large data sets containing a variety of data types to uncover hidden patterns, unknown correlations, market trends, customer preferences and other useful business information.

The Mariners and Search Technologies operate on shared mantras and CEO Kamran Khan was excited to partner with the Coast based Football Club.

‘We are very pleased to be on board as the big data partner for the Central Coast Mariners. The Mariners have recently shown that they are willing to push boundaries in order to be innovative and exciting, not only on the pitch but in their use of analytics in the sports industry,” Khan said.
