The Central Coast Mariners have officially partnered with Central Coast Football leading into this year’s local finals series.
After last season’s COVID interrupted competition, the finals are back in 2022 to crown the champions of the Central Coast.
To mark this return, the Mariners have teamed up with Central Coast Football, ready to celebrate the season.
With the help of Hawkesbury Brewing and East Coast Beverages, the Mariners will be on hand this grand final day, presenting cases of beer and juice to the champions of each division.
The occasion symbolises the return of the Mariners into the Central Coast community after the COVID pandemic. The partnership is only the start of the Mariners continued push to support grassroots football in the region.
“This is really exciting for us to finally after covid get back into the community and make a huge difference. This is who we are, we are the community club,” Mariners CEO Shaun Mielekamp said.
“To come in with the relief of finally getting through a full season for Central Coast Football, and everyone at grass roots, to get to celebrate that together is really exciting.”
“This is the first step in a long time for us to get back entrenched into the community. We have been out seeing some clubs and I’m sure that every community club will start to feel that strong connection with the Central Coast Mariners once again.”
Central Coast Football CEO Alex Burgin is pleased to be partnering with the Mariners, expecting a big final series.
“We are excited to be able to work together with the Central Coast Mariners. Joining forces benefits the whole Central Coast footballing community.”
The Mariners would like to thank our partners Masterfoods and MATE for their continued support with community initiatives.
