Joe Gauci joined the Mariners from South Australian NPL side, West Torrens Birkalla SC ahead of the 2018/19 season. The Promising, young keeper who was a regular starter for his SA NPL side is just one of the promising young keepers among the Mariners ranks and is on a Hyundai A-League scholarship.
