Biography
Defender Jacob Farrell is a Central Coast junior, coming through the Mariners academy before debuting for the first team against the Newcastle Jets in round one of the 2021/22 Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s season.
Farrell scored a remarkable header on that occasion, caping off his debut with a spectacular goal and three points away from home in his first experience of playing in the F3 Derby.
He played 25 league appearances last season, being regarded as one of the most consistent defenders in the A-League. His form was rewarded with a call up into the Australian U23 side that went to the youth Asian Cup.
