Team News: Mariners name squad for New Year’s Eve match

Central Coast Mariners head coach Nick Montgomery has name his extended 20-man squad for this Saturday’s match against Melbourne Victory.

After a tight 1-0 loss in difficult conditions, the Mariners are keen to end 2022 on a high as we look to cement ourselves as one of the front runners in this year’s Isuzu UTE A-League competition.

Montgomery has named an unchanged squad for this weekend, with Max Balard, Paul Ayongo and Thomas Aquilina all in contention to return to the matchday squad.

Josh Nisbet will also aim to return after being a late withdrawal on Tuesday due to illness. The match will also act as the final Mariners game for Garang Kuol.
