This Saturday the Central Coast Mariners host Perth Glory and Paul Okon has named his provisional squad.
The Foxtel National Youth League season has drawn to an end but after impressing throughout the campaign, captain Steve Whyte has been called into the provisional squad – a well-deserved reward for his hard work.
Also putting his hand back up for selection after returning from illness and injury is Jacob Poscoliero who hasn’t featured in the Hyundai A-League since round two against Sydney FC. Poscoliero managed to play 90 minutes in the last Foxtel National Youth League match of the season on Saturday.
After receiving a harsh red card against Melbourne City last week, Roy O’Donovan will spend one week on the sideline and all eyes will be on the attacking stocks to see who fills the void.
That does pave the way for a potential starting berth for Josh Bingham to spearhead a Mariners attack or perhaps a change in position for one of our other lightning fast attackers.
The Mariners will be without Mickael Tavares and Jacques Faty who continue to recover from injury.
