PACEY Mariners attacker Bernie Ibini has been in some sizzling scoring form recently, netting three goals in Central Coast-s past two matches.
Against Wellington Phoenix in round 20, Ibini-s salute celebration following his second strike of the game caught the eye of well-positioned photographers and the imagination of supporters, some of whom were seen to replicate his joyful expression in the stands.
Here at Central Coast Mariners HQ we reckon Bernie ought to make his stylish salute a regular feature of his post goal celebrations – Ibini™, if you will.
This Saturday we face Melbourne Victory in a crucial clash at Bluetongue Stadium (kick-off 7:45pm) and we-d like our fans to send us their take on Bernie Ibini-s salute in support of the team!
And not only will we post the pics to a unique gallery on our official Facebook page (ensuring your salute is seen by other Mariners supporters!), but the person who sends in the most ‘LIKED- salute (by 12pm on Friday 22 February 2013) will win an uncatered eight-seated outdoor box for this Saturday-s crunch contest with Victory!
Want to get involved? You have two ways to send us your salute! Option A is to flick it to us via e-mail (info@ccmariners.com.au) with the subject header “Salute For CCM”. Option B is to tweet it at our official Twitter handle (@CCMariners), adding in the hashtag #SaluteForCCM.
We-ll update the gallery several times daily, and when you see your shot online it-s then up to you to promote your image to your mates and get the ‘LIKES- required to win the prize! *Hint* Share the gallery and your image number on your Facebook wall, tweet the shot to your mates, or e-mail everyone you know about your image!
For the best chance to win, think outside the box with your image. Perhaps venturing to an iconic Central Coast location will give you a better chance of winning, or dressing up in a funny costume before saluting might do the trick.
