Adelaide come into the game off the back of a 1-0 win over Western Sydney Wanderers. continuing an up and down start to the season which has seen them win four and lose four.

The Mariners held out for a goalless draw against unbeaten league leaders Melbourne City on New Years Eve, and will be looking to continue a strong start to the season with a win at Woy Woy.

Last time vs Adelaide

This is the first meeting between the two this season, with the last clash coming at Our Paradise in March.

The Mariners ran out 2-0 winners on the day with Tiarna Karambasis and Wurigumula on the scoresheet.

Karambasis is now of Adelaide, but will miss out on a trip back to the Coast after she suffered a concussion in the Reds’ win over Wanderers last time out.

🔎 Players to Watch:

In Fiona Worts, Adelaide have one of the in-form players in the league. The English forward sits joint top of the scoring charts with six goals so far.

No doubt Worts will threaten Sarah Langman in between the sticks for the Mariners. Our Number One has been in inspired form of late, including some New Years Eve penalty heroics to earn us a point against Melbourne City.

🗣 Sarah Langman “We’ll have to be good defensively”

Langman a strong start to the season, both individually and collectively, as well as preparation to take on her former side.

🗣 Emily Husband “I’m really proud of the girls”

Husband reflected on a point last time out, touching on the form of our goalkeeper and the mentality of the squad to prepare for another short turnaround.
