Central Coast Mariners are back at Our Paradise for an exciting Friday night evening Double Header.
The action starts at 4:50pm as our Ninja A-League team take on Western Sydney Wanderers. The Mariners are well in the mix to make finals for the second consecutive season since returning to the competition, with defender Jess Nash saying we are at ‘crunch time’ of the season.
Mark Jackson’s side then face Western United at 7:35pm, with Mark Jackson expecting a strong response after Saturday’s disappointing defeat to the Wanderers in the Isuzu UTE A-League.

4:50pm – Ninja A-League: CCM vs Western Sydney Wanderers
Emily Husband will be hoping for a similar outcome to when the two sides met last month at Wanderers Football Park, as her side ran out comfortable 3-1 winners.
Brooke Nunn and Tess Quilligan gave us a first half lead, before Bianca Galic slotted home a penalty to seal the win.
Husband and Mariners fans alike will be thrilled to have Izzy Gomez fit and raring for a start against Wanderers, who she scored a stunning goal against in this fixture last season.
What a way to score your first!

This season, Gomez had a flying start that saw her score twice in the first four rounds and earn a Matildas call-up before picking up an injury that kept her out for almost three months, but she is back now for the pointy end of the season which is a huge boost for the Mariners.
Wanderers have picked up form since then and come into this game with back-to-back wins in their last two wins, lifting them off the foot of the table up to 12th, with the Mariners aware of their rejuvenated confidence.

7:35pm – Isuzu UTE A-League: CCM vs Western United
The Mariners and Western played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the previous meeting, with Mikael Doka and Ryan Edmondson on target for Mark Jackson’s side.
The last time Western visited Our Paradise, Marco Tulio scored the pick of the goals with this stunner in a 4-0 win.

Western are the Isuzu UTE A-League surprise package this season, with John Aloisi’s young team flying high in third place.
They come into this game off the back of an eye-catching 3-0 win over 2nd-placed Adelaide United on Sunday.
Noah Botic is the one to watch, earning high praise for his form this season, his goal against Adelaide was his ninth of the season which puts him level at the top of the scoring charts.
As for the Mariners, they need to see a reaction after a damaging 4-0 defeat on home soil last week, with Jacko demanding to see more ‘intent’ from his side on Friday evening.
