It was another successful weekend in the Central Coast Mariners Academy space with the senior men’s and women’s teams clean sweeping their opponents in the PS4 NPL 2.

The Central Coast Mariners Academy men downed the Canterbury Bankstown Berries in all three grades whilst the women completed a clean sweep from first grade to the U14’s against the Inter Lions SC.

For the men’s first grade team, a return to Pluim Park saw our boys take a first half lead when Emmanuel Peters fired home an impressive assist from Josh Nisbet. Unfortunately, they let their lead slip with 20 minutes to go when a penalty was conceded – ending the game in a 1-1 draw with the Berries.

The undefeated run continues for our Mariners Academy after nine rounds of action and are winning plaudits across the league this season for their fluent football. They now hold fourth spot on the ladder.
