Central Coast Mariners officially unveiled the Club’s Hyundai A-League 2014/15 Kappa playing strips at Westfield Tuggerah on Thursday evening.

Star Mariners John Hutchinson, Anthony Caceres, Eddy Bosnar and Liam Reddy modelled the looks in Centre Court as fans made the most of their first opportunity to see the Club’s players wearing the new looks in the flesh.

The Mariners’ first choice – or ‘home’ – strip for Hyundai A-League season ten was designed with the input of a panel of fans. Throughout season nine, Club supporters relayed that they would like to see yellow as the dominant colour on the home playing shirt, and have the neckline altered.

As a result a simple yet elegant home shirt has been tailored, with thin blue trimming complementing the otherwise all yellow design. Moreover, a V-neck now adorns all of the Mariners’ playing strips for their Hyundai A-League assault. The home shirt will be paired with navy blue shorts and classic white socks.

Central Coast’s second choice – or ‘away’ – strip for this season features a navy blue top paired with white shorts and socks, while goalkeepers Liam Reddy and Matt Nash will sport charcoal kits in the first instance.

All of the Central Coast Mariners’ playing kits for 2014/15 feature the Club’s ten year anniversary crest designed by foundation member Tyson Peisley, and possess a unique feature on the upper back – four palm trees and the numbering “2004 – 2014” to signify the Club’s home, history and heritage.

The kits have been given the thumbs up by foundation Mariner and Club Captain, John Hutchinson. Indeed, Hutchinson was the player that modelled the home strip at the launch at Westfield Tuggerah on Thursday.

“As players the most important thing is that we feel comfortable in our strips,” Hutchinson said. “We are happy with the changed neckline and given we feel good in these looks we hope that the kits will prove to be popular with our fans.”

Fans at the event received first dibs at purchasing the limited numbers of the new kit currently available. More numbers of the jerseys will be in stock soon and supporters are encouraged pre-purchase via www.CCMariners.com.au, phone the Club between business hours on 4353 7200, or visit Mariners HQ in the Ausgrid Building at Tuggerah Business Park.

Moreover, the kits will be available to try and buy at the Club’s 2014 Fan Day to be held at Central Coast Stadium, Gosford, on Saturday 4 October 2014.
