67-year-old Mac McLarty from Kariong attends Mariners matches with his grandson, James and granddaughter, Laura.
We touched base with Mac to find out why he’s committed to the Club as the Mariners target 5,000 Members for the 2013/14 campaign.

Mac, why are you back on board as a Mariners Member for the 2013/14 season?
The Mariners performed very well last year and we are keen to continue to support our local team as great lovers of the sport.
What is the best thing about attending the Mariners home games?
The home games are a great opportunity to support the local team in a friendly, exciting atmosphere.
Why would you encourage other Mariners fans to sign up as a Member?
We want to encourage other Mariners fans to commit to a permanent Membership so that they can see the success of the team from start to finish. As was the case last year, we had the privilege of watching all of the boys’ home games from the very beginning and then to the end as they went on to win the Championship.
Who is your favourite player, past or present? Danny McBreen. His commitment to the team and the strength he has is great to watch week after week.
What was the highlight of last season?
The main highlight of last season would have to be winning the Championship after several years of perseverance, which shows how good of a team the Mariners really are. With strong financial Membership and large crowds, we expect the Mariners to be Champions again in season 13/14.
