Young full-back Leia Puxty made her return from injury in last weekend’s win over Wellington Phoenix, coming off the bench to feature in the second half. After also getting minutes in the Academy the week prior, she’s now fully fit and included again as Emily Husband named an unchanged 18-player squad.
For Brisbane Roar, they are hopeful that star midfielder and Matilda Tameka Yallop will return from a calf issue, though fellow Matilda Sharn Frier still remains unavailable due to an ankle injury.

Previously against Brisbane Roar
It’s been an even contest between the Mariners and Brisbane Roar since our return to the competition, with one win each and a draw.
Tiana Fuller was on target for the Mariners in the reverse fixture, back in December at Perry Park, but it wasn’t enough for Husband’s team as Yallop stuck an 80th minute winner for the hosts.

Brisbane Roar
Just three points separate the Mariners and Brisbane Roar on the ladder, with the Roar in sixth heading into a high-stakes Round 21 match up.
Recent results haven’t gone their way, with only one win in their past five matches including a heavy 4-0 defeat to league leaders Melbourne City in midweek.
However, Brisbane remain a dangerous opponent with the likes of Yallop, Laini Freier and rising star Grace Kuilamu all attacking threats.
The Mariners also need to be aware of Momo Hayashi and Chelsea Blissest who play key roles across the midfield and defence.
