The Central Coast Mariners’ Holiday Clinics, which were staged for the first time in July, will return to various Central Coast locations in October, although, for the first time, at indoor venues as well as outdoor.

The three-day clinics, which can be attended by boys and girls aged from 6 to 14 years, will be hosted at all corners of the Central Coast over three Springtime weeks.
For outdoor clinics, venues at Budgewoi, The Entrance and Umina will be utilised, while Charmhaven, Tumbi Umbi and Woy Woy will supply undercover venues for juniors with a preference for the indoors.
“These Holiday Clinics are an excellent way to promote a healthy and active lifestyle through football and also give all Central Coast youngsters a chance to rub shoulders with their heroes,” said Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman.
The Holiday Clinics, which will be supervised by foundation Mariner and recently appointed Youth Development co-ordinator Damien Brown, will see all participants put through their paces by qualified coaches and treated to a visit from members of the Mariners- season four playing squad.
For just $150 per child, participants will receive a Mariners t-shirt, football and many other giveaways in addition to the exclusive opportunity to rub shoulders with the Mariners as they continue their Hyundai A-League 2008/09 charge.
The outdoor clinics will begin at 9am each morning and conclude at 12pm, with the indoor clinics starting at 1pm and finishing at 4pm.
New to the outdoor clinics will be a special program exclusive to goalkeepers, with limited positions available
“Our clinics will introduce these young footballers to some of the training drills that the Mariners themselves are put through, all within a fun and interactive environment,” said Mariners Youth Development Co-ordinator Brown.
