Kye Rowles signs with Heart of Midlothian in Scotland

The Central Coast Mariners are pleased to announce that in form defender Kye Rowles has signed with Scottish club Heart of Midlothian.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Kye for his contribution across the past five years and wish him the best in the rest of his career.

Kye joined the Mariners in 2017 and since then, has become one of the in-form centre backs surmounting with back to back Mariners Medals and a call up to the A-League All Stars where he played 90 minutes against European powerhouse FC Barcelona, as well as receiving his first Socceroos cap against Jordan.

Rowles spoke about the culture of the club and thanked the fans for their ongoing support.

“Five years in the football world is a long time and the Central Coast has turned into a second home for me.

“I’ll never forget the nights playing at Central Coast Stadium, from the palm trees, to the sauce bottles, to the band” Rowles added.

“I would really like to thank my family, my friends and the fans for their support over the years and I can’t wait to make you all proud.”

We wish Kye all the best in the Scottish Premiership and hope that he can bring success to Heart of Midlothian.
