Central Coast Mariners will return to AFC Champions League action on Wednesday 16 April when the Club takes on Korea Republic-s FC Seoul on Matchday 5 at Central Coast Stadium.

Central Coast and Seoul met on 2014 AFC Champions League Matchday 1, with the men from the South Korean capital recording a 2-0 victory.

The Mariners will need to keep a close eye on Spaniard Osmar Barba Ibanez and winger Yun Il-lok in the match – both players found the net for Seoul on Tuesday 25 February.

The yellow and navy currently sit in first spot in Group F of Asia-s top club competition, one point ahead of Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Beijing Guoan and FC Seoul with two games of the group stage remaining.

A win for the Mariners in their clash with Choi Yong-soo-s side will go some way in deciding whether they advance to round of 16 and could possibly guarantee Phil Moss-s men their place in the knockout phase of Asia’s most prestigious club competition for a second successive year.
