The Central Coast Mariners can today confirm that Danny De Silva will join Sydney FC on a one-year loan deal, effective immediately. The intra-league loan agreement is the first of its kind in the Hyundai A-League.
De Silva becomes the first player to take advantage of the Hyundai A-League’s new loan system which allows Australian players who are under the age of 23 to be loaned between Hyundai A-League clubs from the 2018/19 season onwards.
During this loan period, De Silva is prohibited from playing against the Mariners.
The Central Coast Mariners thank De Silva for his efforts and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
