CENTRAL Coast Mariners majority owner Michael Charlesworth is hoping large numbers of fans will gather at Mingara Recreation Club on Monday 24 June to attend the Club’s first Fan Forum of 2013.
CENTRAL Coast Mariners majority owner Michael Charlesworth (pictured above right) is hoping large numbers of fans will gather at Mingara Recreation Club on Monday 24 June to attend the Club-s first Fan Forum of 2013.
With the support of Football Federation Australia (FFA), the Mariners will have FFA Chief Executive Officer, Mr David Gallop, and Head of Hyundai A-League, Mr Damien de Bohun, present to discuss the challenges and opportunities the Club has in its market.
Supporters will be able to ask their questions of FFA and senior Central Coast Mariners management, and learn about the Club-s forthcoming 2013/14 Hyundai A-League Membership drive and community engagement plans.
“Our first fan forum at Mingara Recreation Club marks the symbolic commencement of our fresh efforts to develop greater bonds with the Central Coast community,” Charlesworth said.
“In July, we will be rolling out an extensive Membership campaign supported by a range of community engagement activities. Of course, our players will be back for pre-season too as we begin our Championship defence.”
“But our first fan forum really is the perfect opportunity for supporters of the Club to speak with us and let us know what they would like to see from us in season 9 of the Hyundai A-League.”
Charlesworth added fans can expect a range of news to flow from the Club in the lead up to the start of the season.
“It-s an exciting time to be a supporter of the Central Coast Mariners,” he said. “Over the coming months we-ll be adding new players to our squad – players our coaching staff believe can contribute to the ongoing success of the team.”
“Off from the pitch, new sponsors, programs, events and partnerships will be finalised to ensure we take real momentum into the new season.”
