22. Sasho Petrovski
One of the authentic marksmen of Australian football, Petrovski’s goals have dominated the domestic scene for much of the past decade. In addition to Petrovski’s fifty-plus goals scored in Australia, the former Sydney FC sharpshooter is able to boast a swag of strikes netted abroad in Denmark’s Superliga and one scored in the green and gold of Australia against Kuwait at the Sydney Football Stadium in August 2006. Petrovski’s first season on the Central Coast after joining the Mariners from southern rivals Sydney FC saw the yellow and navy’s prized recruit claim the clubs Golden Boot prize – the third season in succession Petrovski had won such an award for his club. Aside from these individual honours, Petrovski has won back to back National Soccer League Championships with the Wollongong Wolves and the ultimate prize in the Hyundai A-League with Sydney FC, on top of two starting appearances at the prestigious FIFA Club World Cup in 2005.
